We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Selwood House, a luxury care home in Charlton Down, Dorchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.
Job Summary:
- Provide exceptional personal support and care to our residents.
- Aid their emotional well-being and social needs.
- Support residents during meal times.
- Maintain and develop residents' care plans to ensure their needs are met.
About You
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You are able to engage well with residents and their families.
- You have an understanding of people with dementia.
- Experience as a Care Assistant is preferred but not essential.
- You hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or are willing to work towards this.
