IT Senior Support Analyst, Application Support Specialist

Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Support Specialist to join our Global Transaction Banking team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support for our payment services platform, ensuring its secure and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide second and third-level technical support for the payment services platform, including troubleshooting and resolving application errors.
- Assist with the modernization of the operational support environment, including designing, testing, and implementing new hardware and software upgrades.
- Develop and maintain documentation for hardware and software upgrades, ensuring compliance with audit, compliance, and ITIL best practices.
- Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, providing feedback to improve the platform and services.
- Provide deskside support for approximately 200 users.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Understanding of data centre operational processes and ITIL framework.
- Experience with software development life cycle (DevOps) and relational database technologies.
- Knowledge of operating systems, Office productivity tools, internet protocols, networking, security, and encryption technologies.
- Programming languages and coding knowledge.
