About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Caseworker to join our team in North Yorkshire. As an Independent Victim Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting victims of crime and providing them with the necessary resources and advocacy to navigate the criminal justice system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and provide support to victims of crime, including home visits and risk assessments
  • Provide information and guidance on victims' rights and the criminal justice process
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other organizations that support victims of crime
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a digital environment and use a range of IT equipment and programs
  • Understanding of crime and its impact on individuals and communities
  • Self-motivated and organized with good time management skills
