Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Assistant to join our team at OCS Group. As a Food Service Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services on the wards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation, including probing food for temperature and completing due diligence paperwork.
  • Dish up food and drinks on the ward to patients.
  • Replace and refill water jugs.
  • Assist with collection and washing up of cutlery, crockery, and trays.
  • Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and ready for the next shift.
  • Order stock and fill up.
  • Report broken equipment to supervisor.

Requirements

  • Food Hygiene Certificate at National Level 1 – preferred but not essential as training will be given.
  • Experience in a catering role.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Attention to detail.

Working Hours

You will be working Saturday and Sunday between 16:00 to 19:00, 6 hours per week.
