About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Live-in Care Assistant to provide support and encouragement to vulnerable adults in their own homes. As a Live-in Care Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living tasks, such as personal care, food preparation, and medication management, while also promoting independence and dignity.

About the Work

As a Live-in Care Assistant, you will live with your customers in a spare bedroom, providing support and assistance with daily living tasks. Placements can vary in length, but most people work on a rotational basis. You will be responsible for creating a care plan that meets the individual needs of each customer, including personal care, food preparation, medication management, shopping, housework, and social support.

Requirements

We are looking for a calm and patient individual with a strong grasp of English and at least one year's previous experience in Home Care or a related healthcare role. You must also be able to pass a thorough Enhanced Criminal Record (DBS) check and have a British passport, British Ancestry Visa, or the right to work in the UK.
