Job Summary

Hays Senior Finance is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team. As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the Head of Commercial Finance in the preparation and processing of month-end journals, monthly management accounts, and finance reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process month-end journals and financial reports
  • Liaise with external accountants for statutory accounts and audit
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual business plan
  • Forecasting and variance analysis
  • Liaise with senior stakeholders regularly
  • Maintain responsibility for the cash management of the business, processing of payments, and preparation of weekly cash flow projections
  • Other ad-hoc projects and tasks

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will be an ACA qualified accountant with experience working in a Big Four practice. You will have a strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
