Assistant Accountant / Junior Management Accountant Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Accountant / Junior Management Accountant. This role will provide an excellent opportunity to learn and grow your career in Accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts: Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Financial Reconciliations: Conduct bank and revenue reconciliations, as well as accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
  • Accounts Receivable and Payable: Manage accounts receivable, sales invoices, and allocation receipts, as well as accounts payable, payment runs, and supplier reconciliations.
  • Payroll and Petty Cash: Assist with payroll preparation and petty cash, company credit card reconciliations.
  • Annual Audit: Assist with the annual audit process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Experience: A minimum of [X] years of experience in Accounts, preferably in a similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential. Sage Line 50 experience is a plus.
  • Personal Qualities: Ambitious and eager to learn, with a strong desire to grow your career in Accounts.
