About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at North Thames Genomics Laboratory Hub. As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to adults with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, as well as consultation and supervision to multidisciplinary teams.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and delivery.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with best practices and research in clinical psychology.
Requirements
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working in adult mental health services, preferably in an inpatient setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Knowledge of research methodology, research design, and complex data analysis, as well as experience with clinical supervision and consultation.
