As a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing specialist psychological and mental health input to children and young people and their families/carers.

Your responsibilities will include providing specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and therapy, as well as offering advice and consultation on clients\u2019 psychological care to colleagues from all disciplines and to individuals external to us working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the service\u2019s policies and procedures.

You will also support the psychological assessment and therapy provided by other professionals and offer supervision as agreed per job plan.



**About the Role**

As a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and their families, providing specialist psychological and mental health input. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team and will work closely with other professionals to provide comprehensive care.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology or counselling psychology, as accredited by the BPS. You will also need to have experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course and presenting with the full range of clinical severity around mental health concerns across the full range of care settings.

In addition, you will need to have experience of teaching, training, and/or supervision, as well as supervised experience of evidence-based treatment in relation to children with mental health concerns.
