Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Strategic Safety Leader to join our team at The HSE Recruitment Network. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to our Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) function.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement SHE strategies, policies, and objectives to drive positive change and mature the safety culture.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to embed SHE strategies across the business.
  • Oversee SHE risk management, regulatory compliance, and maintain strong relationships with external regulators.
  • Ensure the delivery of SHE improvements that support sustainable program delivery.
  • Tackle meaningful and momentous projects.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent is essential.
  • Chartered membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., IOSH) would be desirable.
  • Proven SHE leadership experience in a large, complex organization, ideally with multi-site, manufacturing, or engineering environments.
  • Comfortable in navigating fast-paced, heavily regulated environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management, experience implementing SHE management systems across diverse environments, and a collaborative approach to influence senior stakeholders effectively.
