As a Conference & Banqueting Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of conferences and banquets, ensuring exceptional service and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise conference and banqueting operations, including communicating and delegating tasks as needed.
  • Work closely with the Conference and Banquet Manager to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, welcoming guests and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Manage cash handling procedures and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Assist with training and developing the team, as well as conducting annual and mid-year appraisals.
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in conference and banqueting operations, preferably in a hotel setting.
  • Strong communication and delegation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
