Improve Patient Outcomes

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Midwife to join our team as a Deputy Senior Midwife in the Antenatal Clinic. As a Deputy Senior Midwife, you will support the Senior Midwife in ensuring that women, babies, and families receive safe and effective care across the entire maternity care pathway. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new initiatives and projects to improve patient outcomes.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious Midwife to take on a leadership role within our trust. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes.

Main Duties
  • Support the Senior Midwife in managing teams and services to deliver high-quality midwifery care
  • Contribute to the development of new initiatives and projects to improve patient outcomes
  • Assist in the evaluation and improvement of existing care pathways
Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A significant amount of post-registration experience, preferably at Band 6 level
  • NMC Midwifery registration
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

The salary for this position is £44,345 - £57,250 per annum, depending on experience. This is a full-time role with flexible working arrangements available.
