Care Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Professional to join our Care in the Home division at Active Care Group. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with spinal cord injuries, acquired brain injuries, and complex health needs to live independently in their own homes.
This is a rewarding opportunity for an individual who is passionate about providing exceptional care and support to vulnerable individuals. You will work collaboratively with our clinical and business leadership teams to ensure that our clients receive the highest standard of care and attention.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be flexible and reliable, and have a kind and caring nature. No previous experience is required, as full training, shadow shifts, and ongoing support will be provided.
About the Role:
As a Care Professional, your primary responsibility will be to provide person-centred care and support to our clients, promoting independence and dignity throughout their daily lives. This may involve supporting with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as managing medication schedules and performing household chores.
You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of client care and participating in regular supervision and training sessions. Our commitment to professional development means that you will have access to ongoing training and support to help you achieve your career goals.
Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of £11.50 per hour (increasing to £12 after successful completion of probation), along with accrued holiday pay and flexible zero-hours contracts. You will also benefit from regular consistent work with rolling rotas, joining our Active Learning Hub for e-learning and face-to-face training opportunities, and access to a Nest Personal Pension account.
