**Job Title:** Progress Mentor - Maternity Cover

**Job Type:** Fixed-term, up to 1 year

**Work Schedule:** Term time, 38 weeks per year

**Hours of Work:** Full-time, 37 hours per week

Burton and South Derbyshire College is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to fill the role of Progress Mentor - Maternity Cover. As a Progress Mentor, you will provide academic support to students who require additional guidance outside of the classroom.

You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop tailored support plans, monitor student progress, and provide regular feedback to students and parents. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement effective support plans to promote student progress
  • Provide regular feedback to students and parents on student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
  • Contribute to the development of teaching resources and materials

**Salary:** £32,000-£42,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
