Automotive Training Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Training Specialist to join our team at Burton and South Derbyshire College. As an Automotive Training Specialist, you will be responsible for training and supporting apprentices in motor vehicle skills and knowledge.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering high-quality training programmes to meet the needs of apprentices and employers
- Mentoring and coaching apprentices to achieve their full potential
- Evaluating apprentice progress and providing constructive feedback
The ideal candidate will have:
- A recognised teaching qualification and assessor award
- Proven experience in automotive training and education
- A driving licence and access to transport
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This is a part-time position working 2 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. The salary for this role is £20,352 per annum (£33,920 pro rata). The location is Burton on Trent, Town Centre Campus.
