Support Worker for SEMH Students

The role of Teaching Assistant at this special school involves providing general classroom support as well as one-to-one support to students with SEMH needs. The school is a fast-paced environment, so you must be prepared for this and have good experience working with special needs.
You will be working with long-term teachers who are passionate about delivering high-quality education to students with a range of abilities. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons, managing behaviour, and providing individual support to students.
We are looking for a candidate who is adaptable, patient, positive, calm, and confident in dealing with challenging behaviour. Experience working with Early Years and Primary aged students is preferred, but we are open to applications from candidates with experience working with other age groups.
