Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team at a unique special school in Cheltenham. The school caters to students aged 2-10 with a range of special needs, with a focus on SEMH.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general support to the teacher in the classroom
  • Work with students with SEMH and other special needs
  • Develop and implement strategies to support students with challenging behaviour
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to plan and deliver lessons
Requirements
  • Experience working with students with special needs and disabilities
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour and work with students with SEMH
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues
