In this role, you'll be responsible for accurately attributing delays, working closely with our signaller community and other colleagues across the railway. Your investigative skills and analytical abilities will be essential in identifying the root cause of each delay.

With a keen eye for detail, you'll work with delay data to build an accurate picture of the reasons behind delays. Your ability to develop a good rapport with a wide range of people will be crucial in finding solutions to these delays.

You'll be confident in using bespoke IT systems and Windows-based applications, and have a solid understanding of railway and infrastructure operations. Your presentation skills will also be put to the test as you create clear, concise, and accurate reports.

This role involves shift working, including days, nights, and weekends, and is safety-critical. Offers of employment are subject to drug and alcohol testing, passing a medical assessment, and BPSS pre-employment checks.

As a Delay Resolution Specialist, you'll be rewarded with a competitive salary of approximately £32,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits including a comprehensive pension scheme and opportunities for career development.
