In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating all technical activities on assigned projects, including proposal preparation, project scheduling, and engineering work coordination. You will ensure that projects are managed in accordance with the quality management system, group policies, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans, conferring with management.
- Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.
- Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.
- Participate in and manage client/contractor meetings and resolve client/engineering and project management issues.
- Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress.
- Verify and check all project deliverables.
- Support the Senior PM in delivering Operations, Special Projects, and Marine Construction Projects.
- Engineering qualification/degree/HND in Marine/Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture.
- Hold a recognized Project Management qualification commensurate with the position (desirable).
- Computer literate with knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft Office Professional (including MS Project), also knowledge of bespoke design software i.e., AutoCAD, Mathcad, FEA.
