We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Project Management Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting accountable project owners with the delivery of strategically important projects.
The role will involve providing professional project management expertise, including the application of Agile methodologies, to achieve successful project outcomes. The ideal candidate will have experience of applying both waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
As a member of the PM Group, you will contribute to NOC's community of professional practice by maintaining an awareness of current best practice and trends in project management. You will also be expected to share your knowledge and learning with other project managers.
The successful candidate will be a confident communicator who can work collaboratively with engineers, scientists, corporate staff, and senior stakeholders to enable project delivery. You will also need to be an effective team player who can work with fellow project managers to provide a customer-focused business partnering service for project management.
About YouWe are looking for a project professional who has a strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
You will also have a strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools, including Agile and waterfall approaches. Experience of working in a similar role, preferably in a research or academic environment, would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a commitment to continued professional development and the application of best practice project management.
