About the Role

Amazon Robotics is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for resolving complex technical issues in our Robotics environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deep-dive into technical issues, analyze, mitigate, or resolve them using multiple data sources, dashboards, and logs.
  • Collaborate with development/software teams to navigate complex situations and create viable solutions for our customers.
  • Engage with high-severity incidents, set up and manage high-severity calls, and directly communicate and troubleshoot with customers until the situation is mitigated.
  • Use Change Management best practices to create, approve, and implement changes within the Amazon Robotics environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant IT degree.
  • Experience troubleshooting software applications, platforms, or cloud services.
  • Technical background from working in Service Operations Technical Support Environment in a domain such as Networking, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, or Cloud.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, within technical and business settings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical inclination and background, with a good understanding of complex systems and how to troubleshoot them.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical details in a way that is understood by both technical and non-technical audiences.
