Horizon Care & Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Residential Support Worker. About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Horizon Care & Education. As a Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support to young people in the many different aspects of daily life within our homes. This includes:
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting young people with morning routines, including getting ready for school and preparing healthy meals
- Encouraging participation in hobbies and social activities, and providing opportunities for learning and development
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to provide relationship-based, person-centred care
- Assisting with evening routines, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all residents
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- Relevant experience working with children or young people in a care setting
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
