Costing and Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Costing and Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at John Bean Technologies Corporation. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes, estimating costs, and implementing cost reduction initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough cost analysis to identify areas of cost improvement and recommend cost reduction plans.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve production processes and eliminate waste.
- Support purchasing in identifying and evaluating suppliers to ensure cost-effective sourcing of materials and components.
- Monitor and analyze actual costs versus estimated costs.
- Help develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and cost efficiency.
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering and cost estimation in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Systems knowledge (ERP background).
- High level of Excel expertise with experience of CAD systems: Auto-Cad, Pro-E, Inventor, Solid Works etc.
