About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Graduate Manufacturing Engineer to join our Operations team at John Bean Technologies Corporation. As a Graduate Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a vital role in verifying and producing manufacturing packages, acting as a link between purchasing, production, and design engineering. You will also contribute to driving continuous improvement, efficiency, and quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate cost improvement opportunities and resolve variances from cost estimating to actual
  • Perform cost and technical evaluations and make recommendations on improvements in manufacturing and field installation methods and/or procedures
  • Work effectively within a team to achieve common goals
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality

Requirements

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng/BEng (Hons) or similar)
  • Post-graduate qualifications are also welcomed
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
