About Us

The Nursing and Midwifery Council is responsible for regulating nurses, midwives, and nursing associates in the UK. Our core role is to promote high education and professional standards, maintain the register of professionals eligible to practise, and investigate concerns about nurses, midwives, and nursing associates.
