Job Title: Revenues Administration Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Revenues Administration Specialist to join our team at CRA GROUP LIMITED. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing council tax work to help clear a large outstanding volume.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload in the day-to-day administration, billing, collection, and recovery of Council Tax, Business Rates, and BIDs.

Interpret and apply the Local Government Finance Act 1992, relevant regulations, and CRA GROUP LIMITED's policies and procedures.

Identify and take appropriate collection action on accounts relating to Miscellaneous Income and Housing Benefit Overpayments.

Seek efficient collection routes meeting council and customers' needs.

Maintain accurate databases for Council Tax, NNDR, and BIDs.

Requirements:

Experience in NEC [Northgate] and NECDM document management systems.

Ability to clear large volumes of work quickly.

Significant experience in Revenues administration, working practices, and procedures.

5 GCSEs (including English and Maths) or equivalent work experience.

Working Arrangements:

36 hours per week.

Up-to-date basic DBS check required.

Hybrid working with the option to work from home.
