Account Manager Role Overview

STRIDE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT LTD is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of business, both new and existing, providing excellent customer service and placing business in the most suitable market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of business, including new and existing clients.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients.
  • Place business in the most suitable market.
  • Act in the best interest of customers when choosing insurers.
  • Maintain successful working relationships with insurers.
  • Assimilate, analyse and present information to insurers underwriters to achieve risk acceptance at the most advantageous terms.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of standard cover/terms/conditions of all policy covers broked by you.
  • Understanding of insurance Law.
  • Awareness of the FSA, Rules and Procedures, as they relate to your job.
  • Detailed knowledge of the market in which you operate.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office, Email, and Acturis (desirable).
