Discover a challenging role as a Pressure Systems Inspector with Stork Technical Services UK Ltd.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inspection Engineer to join our team. As a Pressure Systems Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of process plant equipment and preventing potential hazards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Work Scopes in accordance with the Pressure System Safety Regulations (PSSR).
  • Develop inspection work scopes to satisfy Written Schemes of Examination (WSE), specifying access requirements, insulation removal, and NDT procedures.
  • Perform invasive visual examinations of major pressure systems, adhering to WSE guidelines, on equipment such as process pipework, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, distillation columns, PRVs, and storage tanks.
  • Collaborate with the NDT team to clarify NDT inspection techniques, ensuring compliance with integrity objectives.
  • Compose high-quality inspection reports accurately describing asset conditions.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in in-service inspection of process piping, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, distillation columns, and PRVs, with knowledge of accompanying design codes.
  • Familiarity with PSSR and ability to create work scopes for examinations of major pressure systems in accordance with WSE.
  • Meet the UKAS definition for Category 2 or 3 Inspection Engineers, with a minimum of one year spent working in an engineering discipline associated with in-service inspection of pressure systems.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Location: Cheshire region, UK.
