Performance-Driven Inspection Specialist

CAT 2/3 Inspection Engineer
Stork UK, a leading provider of asset integrity solutions, is seeking a skilled Inspection Engineer to work onshore in the Cheshire region. The successful candidate will join a team providing services such as NDT, Inspection Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare Work Scopes for in-service plant inspections in accordance with the Pressure System Safety Regulations (PSSR).
Develop inspection work scopes to satisfy Written Schemes of Examination (WSE), specifying access, insulation removal, and NDT requirements.
Conduct invasive visual examinations of major pressure systems in accordance with the WSE, including process pipework, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, distillation columns, PRVs, and storage tanks.
Collaborate with the NDT team to clarify NDT inspection techniques and ensure integrity objectives are met.
Prepare high-quality inspection reports detailing the assets' condition.
Evaluate corrosion against company procedure corrosion scales, raising mandatory defects when limits are breached.
Review PRV certification, ensuring correct settings and regular testing.
Verify WSE and inspection frequency post-inspection to confirm accuracy and relevancy.
Participate in the Risk-Based Assessment programme for pressure systems equipment.
Requirements:
An in-service inspection background of process piping, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, distillation columns, and PRVs, along with knowledge of design codes.
Understanding of PSSR, with experience in creating work scopes for examinations of major pressure systems in accordance with the WSE.
Meet the UKAS definition for category 2 or 3 inspection engineers, with at least 5 years of relevant experience and 1 year in in-service inspection of pressure systems.
Desirable certifications: ASME Plant Inspector Level 1/2, API 570 Pipe Inspection, and API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspection.
