Job Description

UnitedUs Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Research Analyst to join our team. As a Research Analyst, you will play a crucial role in fostering strategy and planning excellence, helping our clients reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research Design and Analysis
    • Develop research hypotheses to inform brand and campaign strategy and planning, based on client data.
    • Craft research plans that achieve desired research objectives, including methodology, representative samples, format, platform/tool, and distribution.
    • Design research based on the plan, which may include desk research, stakeholder interviews, surveys, focus groups, observational studies, and/or workshops.
    • Test and quality-check research methodologies before launching them to participants.
    • Develop target audience personas using qualitative and quantitative data that speaks to their challenges, pain points, wants, and needs.
    • Analyze and interpret data to compile insightful research and data in the form of frameworks and/or reports to inform brand and campaign strategies.
    • Use storytelling and data visualization techniques to socialize key insights and recommendations with clients in a clear, compelling, and concise way.
    • Identify opportunities for further research to dive deeper into specific insights that will achieve the client's business objectives.
    • Ensure all research meets its brief and is developed on time and within budget.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Take a proactive role in developing existing client relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
    • Help respond to ad-hoc requests from clients who have identified a need for support outside of brand strategy development.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Contribute to the creative, cultural, and operational development of the strategy and planning function, as well as the wider team.
    • Support the Strategy Director in developing internal materials, content, frameworks, and training to build the agency's top-level understanding of research, strategy, and planning.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Working as a research analyst or an equivalent role (e.g., specialist), with an understanding of how brand and business impact are intrinsically linked.
    • Designing, facilitating, analyzing, and presenting research across a diverse range of methodologies (primarily stakeholder interviews, surveys, and workshops).
    • Delivering insightful and well-thought-through B2B and B2C research reports and/or audience personas that are clear, compelling, and concise.
  • Skills
    • An analytical, highly numerate mindset with a genuine passion and interest in research.
    • High attention to detail, with a passion for logical, accurate, and comprehensive research projects that deliver the best results for the client.
    • The ability to translate complex data sets into clear and actionable narratives and communicate both opportunities and challenges to stakeholders.
    • A desire to connect the dots in any given project to tell a complete narrative that aligns with the client's objectives and produces their desired results.
    • Ownership and responsibility for their work across multiple projects, effectively managing their workload with clear organizational skills.
    • Emotional intelligence to build and nurture relationships with our global clients and the wider team, including active listening, perspective-taking, and pragmatic feedback.
