Teaching Assistant Level 2 Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Lime Tree Primary Academy. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teacher in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources. Your primary focus will be to maintain good order and to keep pupils on task. This will also include two days supporting a child who requires specialist support.

We are looking for a dynamic, exceptional, and creative individual who is passionate about improving the teaching and learning in a way that benefits all our pupils. You will have a strong ability to work in partnership with others, be flexible and well-organised, and make positive relationships with parents. Previous experience in a school setting would be beneficial, but is not essential. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate that they can engage with all our pupils and build positive relationships.

This role will be 32.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8.30am-3.30pm. We are open, supportive and flexible with high-quality CPD opportunities through our Teaching School Hubs and Professional Development Institute. Flexible working will be considered, please discuss your preferences at interview.
