Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Primary School Support

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team at a fantastic primary school in Sale. As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students in a classroom-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and provide learning support for children in small groups and on a one-to-one basis
  • Deliver targeted intervention in phonics and basic number to children across different key stages
  • Support teaching and learning in the classroom
  • Assist with the development of individual education and behavioural plans setting challenging expectations for pupils to achieve learning goals
  • Establish trusting relationships with pupils and interact with them according to individual needs and personalities

Requirements:

  • Hold a Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning
  • Experience of working in a classroom-based setting
  • Be outgoing, fun, and engaging
  • Willing to support children of all abilities and needs
  • Have a positive and ambitious attitude to learning
