Teaching Assistant Role in a SEN Secondary School

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) in a secondary school in Sale.

About the Role:

  • £83.85+ per day through PAYE (No umbrella company or agency fees)
  • Weekly pay on timesheets through Teaching Personnel
  • SEN Secondary School located in the Sale area (M33)
  • Full-time role Monday-Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm approx.
  • ASAP start following registration with Teaching Personnel

The successful candidate will work with two pupils with ASC, providing individualised support and guidance to help them achieve their academic and personal goals. The pupils are higher-ability and require support with their day-to-day activities, including providing supplementary support with work when necessary.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with pupils with ASC and be comfortable managing behavioural outbursts. They will work closely with the class teacher and other SEN Teaching Assistants to ensure a cohesive and pleasant learning environment.

This is a temp to perm role, with the opportunity to move onto a permanent school contract after a successful trial period. If you are passionate about supporting pupils with ASC and have the necessary skills and experience, we would love to hear from you.
