Primary SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our SEN primary school in Sale. The successful candidate will provide support to students with varying levels of requirements, including those with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), and physical impairments.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working one-on-one with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) and be able to engage across multiple classes, offering general assistance in accordance with the school's evolving needs. Occasional one-on-one support may be necessary, as all students at this school follow an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general support for SEN students
  • Engage with students across multiple classes
  • Offer one-on-one support as needed

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with SEN students
  • Ability to engage with students across multiple classes
  • Flexibility to adapt to the school's evolving needs

What We Offer:

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
  • Compensation starting at £83.85+ per day, paid weekly through PAYE
  • Registration with Teaching Personnel as a prerequisite
