We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a primary phase setting, supporting children with behaviour and mental health issues.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced staff to develop strategies for supporting children with complex needs. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside therapists and psychologists based on-site at the school, gaining valuable experience in working with Special Needs and Mental Health issues.

We are offering a competitive salary of £85-£95 per day, full-time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4pm. This is an excellent opportunity for any Psychology Graduate looking to gain experience in a challenging yet rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide support to children with complex needs in a primary phase setting
  • To work alongside therapists and psychologists to develop strategies for supporting children with behaviour and mental health issues
  • To maintain accurate records of progress and development

Requirements:

  • Degree in Psychology, Counselling, or Criminology (or related field)
  • Level 3 qualifications and/or relevant experience working with children with special needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
