About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Graduate Mental Health Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a key member of our pastoral team, you will play a vital role in supporting our students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs (SEMH).

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with students, teachers, and other staff members
  • Supporting students with personal care, behavior management, and emotional well-being
  • Contributing to the creation of a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

You will work closely with our school's senior leadership team to ensure that our students receive the best possible support and education.

Salary and Package

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of £80-£90 per day, plus benefits including:

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Psychology, Criminology, or Health & Social Care
  • An understanding of welfare and mental health principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
