Exceptional Care Home Manager Wanted

A highly skilled and dedicated Registered Care Home Manager is sought to lead an exceptional care home in the Peterborough, Cambridgeshire area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a leading healthcare provider and make a real difference in the lives of residents living with dementia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the highest standard of person-centred care is provided to residents, promoting their interests and understanding their needs.
  • Manage a team of staff, providing guidance, supervision, and support, as well as recruiting and onboarding new team members.
  • Develop and encourage the team to deliver outstanding care and services, ensuring business objectives and CQC compliance criteria are met.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to cultivate good working relationships and ensure the service and care levels are outstanding.
  • Have full commercial control and work with the Customer Relations Team to maintain optimum occupancy and cost control.
  • Collaborate with the Hospitality and Maintenance teams to ensure the best standards in the home's environment.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years' experience as a Registered Care Home Manager with CQC.
  • Experience and knowledge of working in dementia care.
  • Proven track record in management and delivery of high-quality care within a residential setting and financial management planning.
  • Proven experience of managing a care team, encouraging, leading, and motivating others.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, compliance, and care inspectorate.
