We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a well-established SEN primary school in Greenford.
This role is ideal for someone who is either a qualified HLTA or has significant experience (5-10 years) working as a TA or LSA.
The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be responsible for leading classes, covering for teachers, conducting pupil assessments, preparing reports, and liaising with parents.
This is a full-time role with reliable working hours, providing vital support for students with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the classroom when required, covering teacher absences and managing lessons independently.
- Assess student progress, complete reports, and ensure each child's learning and development needs are met.
- Work closely with other teaching staff to plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of SEN students.
- Regularly communicate with parents, providing updates on student progress and any necessary interventions.
- Either an HLTA qualification or 5-10 years of experience as a TA/LSA in an SEN setting.
- Experience covering classes, conducting pupil assessments, and creating reports.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with parents and staff.
- Must be able to work full-time in Greenford.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs in a primary school setting is essential.
