Prior's Court Foundation, a renowned centre of excellence for children with autism, is looking for a skilled Procurement Specialist to lead its contract management efforts. Based in Thatcham, our ideal candidate will have a full UK driving licence.

About Prior's Court Foundation

Established by Founding Patron Dame Stephanie Shirley, Prior's Court School opened in 1999, marking the beginning of our journey to support young people with autism. Today, we provide services to around 90 individuals aged 5-25 years through our Young Adult Provision, which was launched in 2011.

Job Summary

The successful applicant will serve as the primary point of contact for local authorities regarding contractual documentation for placements, ensuring timely renewal and maintenance of funding agreements. Key responsibilities include liaising with insurance contacts, managing claims, and providing required information. Additionally, they will lead the annual uplift review process, maintain a contract database, and review procurement across the organisation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the annual uplift review process with placement authorities, supported by the Director of Finance.
  • Maintain a contract database, including key commissioning contacts and funding entities for each placement.
  • Review procurement across the organisation, ensuring best practices are implemented.
  • Manage all claims, including personal injury, as the main point of contact for insurers.
  • Maintain a vehicle fleet database and report all vehicle incidents.
  • Support the annual Insurance review process and assist with invoicing, obtaining placement POs, and uploading information to purchaser online portals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, applicants should possess a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar field, with advanced level proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent command of the English language is essential for transcribing minutes and producing business correspondence.
