Product Owner

Location: Remote - UK-based


Nine Twenty Technology is seeking a Product Owner to join a global leader in social media marketing and product development within the iGaming industry. The organisation is focused on helping users make informed and responsible betting decisions, developing innovative, user-friendly solutions used by millions worldwide in the sports betting industry.


Their mission? To build the leading sports betting content platform in Brazil, providing top-tier written and statistical coverage on popular sports events, all while maintaining a seamless and user-centric experience.


Role Overview:


The Product Owner will play a pivotal role in ensuring the website meets both user expectations and business goals. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing company in the sports betting space, where you'll have a direct impact on product success in the Brazilian market.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Define, prioritise, and align the product roadmap with company goals, balancing short- and long-term needs.
  • Create detailed product requirements, define MVPs for quick validation, and oversee agile sprints for timely releases.
  • Analyse performance and user data, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Set and monitor KPIs, reporting progress and addressing challenges with stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research and communicate updates, ensuring user-focused decisions and proper documentation.


Experience required:


  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, ideally in a content-driven environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the sports betting market, particularly in Brazil, is a plus.
  • Experience with agile development and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4), Excel/Google Sheets, and user behaviour analysis tools like Hotjar.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira and knowledge of SEO best practices.
  • Ability to set and track KPIs, and communicate performance through reports.
  • Passion for delivering top-notch user experiences while driving business growth.


Skills & Tools:


  • Google Analytics (GA4 or other analytics tools)
  • Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis
  • Reporting tools like Looker Studio or similar BI platforms
  • Hotjar (or similar user behaviour tools)
  • Jira (or equivalent project management tools)
  • Experience with OKR goal-setting frameworks
  • Google Search Console (for SEO insights)
  • Understanding of frontend and backend technical concepts
