Job Description

We seek a dedicated advocate to champion the inclusion of vulnerable children and young people in schools. This role demands strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations and build effective relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse data on exclusions, identifying trends and potential solutions to improve outcomes for vulnerable children.
  • Collaborate with schools to develop tailored strategies for supporting students at risk of exclusion.
  • Provide expert advice to schools and families on exclusion procedures, suspension, and permanent exclusion.
  • Maintain accurate records, profiles, and reporting systems, communicating findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support administrative tasks across various teams, including EHE, CME, and Attendance, as required.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of GDPR regulations and confidentiality principles.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively, prioritising tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with working in a school setting, although not essential.
  • Professional attitude, high organisational skills, and enthusiasm for working in a busy team.
