Overview:

Ensemble Health Partners is a dynamic healthcare organization seeking an experienced Medical Records Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient records, working closely with patients and medical staff to provide excellent service.

Responsibilities:

  • Assign accurate medical records numbers and complete medical necessity checks
  • Provide patient instructions and collect insurance information
  • Process physician orders and utilize an overlay tool
  • Adhere to policies and provide exceptional customer service
  • Use quality auditing and reporting systems to ensure accurate accounts
  • Pre-register patient accounts prior to visits
  • Explain consent for treatment forms and obtain necessary signatures
  • Review insurance eligibility and select applicable insurance plans
  • Screen medical necessity using the Advanced Beneficiary Notice software

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certification within 9 months
