HANOVER HOUSING ASSOCIATION LTD is seeking an experienced Financial Administrator to join its Strategic Finance team in Edinburgh.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established housing association, providing transactional finance services that support the delivery of its social purpose.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering efficient and effective transactional finance services, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely reconciliations.

The ideal candidate will have strong finance administration skills, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a customer-driven mindset.

In return, Hanover Scotland offers a competitive salary of £30,152 - £31,246 per annum, plus pension options, flexible working arrangements, and access to our employee benefits platform.

  • About the Role
  • Deliver an efficient and effective transactional finance service by maintaining purchase and sales ledgers, ensuring all transactions are accurately processed, reconciled, and reported.

  • Work collaboratively with Finance Officers and other teams to support an efficient service for employees, customers, suppliers, and key partners.

  • Assist in developing process and system improvements to enhance the efficiency and capabilities of the transactional finance service.

  • Contribute to the Finance team by identifying opportunities to improve service delivery and operational excellence.

  • About You
  • A holder of National Qualifications relevant to the role, such as AAT or equivalent.

  • Strong finance administration skills, including proficiency in financial software packages.

  • Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Able to demonstrate a customer-driven mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
