**About the Role:**

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced SEN Support Manager to join our team at Co-op Academy Manchester.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the provision of special educational needs, including the allocation of support time and writing Pupil Passports.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. Liaise with relevant outside agencies to ensure individual pupil special education needs are met effectively and requirements of statements are fully met.
  2. Ensure accurate and detailed records are kept of meetings and discussions with parents and outside agencies.
  3. Inform staff of pupils' special educational needs and advise on areas to develop and support.
  4. Provide guidance to staff on choosing appropriate teaching and learning methods to meet the needs of different pupils.
  5. Coach colleagues and participate in pedagogic discussions and development to share effective practice with SEND pupils.
  6. Use performance data to inform planning and teaching, evaluating pupils' progress and setting targets for improvement.
  7. Support access arrangements in liaison with the Examinations Manager.
  8. Effectively deploy staff within the Pathways provision.
  9. Ensure the curriculum is appropriately broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated in the Pathways Provision.
  10. Coordinate the effective day-to-day provision of pupils in Pathways.

**Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
