About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team at a SEN primary school in Central Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting pupils with special educational needs to make a positive impact on their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide essential support to higher-ability pupils with special educational needs, helping them reach their full potential.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and the SEN coordinator to develop individualised support plans that cater to the unique needs of each pupil.
  • Deliver one-to-one or small group support sessions to facilitate pupils in achieving their learning goals.
Requirements
  • Prior experience working with pupils with special educational needs is advantageous but not essential.
  • The ability to engage and support higher-ability pupils effectively, using your skills and knowledge to make a positive difference in their lives.
  • A psychology graduate or individual with relevant qualifications is highly desirable, as is excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive daily rate of £83.85+, reflecting their skills and commitment.
