Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Building Services Engineer to join our team as a Facilities Management Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality facilities management services, maintaining the building infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

About the Role

The Facilities Management Specialist will conduct daily operations of the building and systems, oversee maintenance tasks, and manage shift teams. They will also identify materials required to be ordered in a timely manner and source/procure items within timescales.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Conduct daily operations of the building and systems, ensuring control and operation of all systems within the buildings in a competent, effective, and efficient manner;
  2. Oversight of HVAP/LVAP's and training, ensuring shift teams issue relevant site permits as part of the safe system of work;
  3. Manage completion of PPM and reactive tasks and update current systems, complying with statutory and company health, safety, and environmental regulations and policies;
  4. Identify and report defects found during daily tours, implementing and recording statutory inspections, including fire, access equipment, and water hygiene records within their specified folders.
Requirements
  • Appropriate experience within building services;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with staff and customers at all levels;
  • Formal qualification in electrical/mechanical engineering;
  • Experience as an end-user of a building management system;
  • Intermediate computer literacy using Windows Office applications.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include:

  • Overtime at 1.5 times the standard rate on weekdays and 2 times the standard rate on weekends;
