Workshop Operations Manager

Job Title: Workshop Controller
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to join our team at Sprint Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our HGV workshop, ensuring that all vehicles are maintained to the highest standards and that our customers receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the workflow of the workshop, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Supervise a team of HGV technicians and ensure that they have the necessary resources and support to complete their tasks.
- Monitor and control workshop costs, ensuring that they are within budget and that any variances are reported and addressed promptly.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve workshop efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure that customer needs are met and that our business objectives are achieved.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a workshop management or supervisory role, preferably in the HGV industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address issues promptly.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
