Prima Ardelle Associates is seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to join our client's successful motor trade team in the Tunbridge Wells area.
The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills, able to work under pressure and provide a service of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiency and Utilization of Technicians: Oversee the efficient allocation of jobs to technicians, ensuring maximum productivity and minimal downtime.
- Job Card Distribution: Ensure timely and accurate distribution of job cards throughout the workshop, minimizing delays and maximizing customer satisfaction.
- Administration and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and reports, including job completion status, warranty, and invoicing.
- Workshop Loading System: Operate the workshop loading system to allocate jobs to the most suitable technicians, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Upselling and Customer Service: Identify opportunities to upsell and provide exceptional customer service, driving sales and revenue growth.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the workshop team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze workflows and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven track record in a main dealer Service department, with transferable skills and a solid career history.
