About the Role

Randstad UK is seeking a highly skilled Family Support Worker to join our team in the Northern Trust area. As a key member of our Social Care team, you will provide invaluable support to senior Social Workers and management teams in delivering high-quality services to children and families.

We are looking for an experienced individual with a strong background in Child and Family Care or working with young people. You will be responsible for assisting social work managers in providing quality social work services, undertaking tasks allocated by the Team Manager to support social workers, and completing tasks such as coordinating family support, diversionary, and respite services.

You will also assist with practical tasks including transport, delivering advice and guidance on parenting tasks, and reporting identified safeguarding concerns to the Team Manager and/or Social Worker immediately. Additionally, you will support social work staff with administrative tasks, referrals to other agencies, setting up meetings, and duty tasks.

In return for your hard work and dedication, you will receive a competitive salary of £12.86 per hour (Band 4 pay scale), full-time hours of x37.5 per week (part-time hours considered pending experience), premium evening and weekend rates if required, and a comprehensive benefits package including a competitive mileage allowance, enhanced holiday package, employee assistance programme, and full-funded enhanced training and e-learning opportunities.
