About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessment, formulation, and therapeutic interventions to older people and their carers in an inpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychological assessment and formulation to older people and their carers
  • Develop and implement therapeutic interventions to address mental health difficulties
  • Collaborate with the multi-professional team to provide advice and consultation on psychological issues
  • Liaise with other team members, psychologists, and members of other disciplines and agencies responsible for a client's care

Person Specification

We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist with a strong background in clinical psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology. You will also have experience of working with older people and their carers, and a strong understanding of the Comprehend Cope and Connect trans-diagnostic approach.
